TERMS & CONDITIONS

OVERVIEW

These terms and conditions are between Married by Friends ('MBF') and refers to anyone working in or for MBF, including, but not limited to suppliers, contractors and other companies. Anyone, directly or indirectly, seeking these services will be referred to here as the client ('Client/s'). By paying the deposit, the Client/s agree to these Terms & Conditions.

LIABILITY OF SERVICES LIMITED

If MBF is too ill or becomes injured and cannot supply the wedding services agreed on in writing, MBF will try to book a replacement provider with a similar style. If this is not possible, liability is limited to a refund of that portion of the payments received for that service. MBF’s liability to the Client/s for any and all costs, loss or damage suffered by the Client, however caused, arising out of, or connected with, the performance or failure of performance of services by MBF, except where provided to the contrary by the Consumer Guarantees Act, shall not exceed the full value of the payment/s made directly by the Client/s.

PA SYSTEM

i. The use of MBF’s PA system is subject to availability. Please ensure you book it to save disappointmenr.

ii. The use of MBF’s PA system is subject to favourable weather conditions and is not to be used in any circumstances where the PA unit may be exposed to harm, either by person or persons, or the elements such as extreme heat, rain, wind or snow. Judgement to be at the sole discretion of MBF.

iii. MBF will undertake to use their best endeavours to ensure that the PA is fully charged, functional and tested prior to the ceremony, however the Client/s acknowledge that equipment may malfunction from time to time and should the PA fail at any time prior, during, or after the ceremony, MBF will not be held responsible, liable or offer any compensation.

iv. Client/s agree to cover the repairs or replaced cost of the PA unit should it be damaged or broken beyond repair due to misuse by an adult guest or child guest.

PAYMENT

At the time of booking, a deposit is required as a non-refundable booking fee to secure your Wedding Date. The full amount agreed in the final quote from MBF is due at least two calendar months prior to the Wedding, or sooner if the Wedding Date is less than two calendar months away at the time of booking. In the event the Client/s cancel the wedding or service for whatever reason, any amount paid is non-refundable.

FORCE MAJEURE

In the event of a force majeure, all services will come to a halt. No further fees will be charged and no refunds given. No services will be provided in the event of a force majeure.

PANDEMIC

In the event of a pandemic, all services will come to a halt. When it is deemed safe to do so, at the sole discretion of MBF, an alternative date may be picked by mutual agreement. If a new date cannot be agreed on, no refunds shall be given.

PHOTOGRAPHS, VIDEOS AND REVIEWS

The Client/s agree and acknowledge that MBF may contact the photographer and/or videographer directly to acquire photographic and video content, to further promote and advertise MBF services. The Client/s acknowledge this and give MBF full permission, and release all rights to request monetary or other value in return. MBF may also use reviews and words provided by Client/s, alongside their photographs and/or video content for future advertising and promotion.
